Specializing in hats for carriage driving, you'll find that an Elizabeth Cole Original is more than a hat - each creation is a work of fine millinery art, a craft learned from the milliner to the Queen Mother of England. Each hat is meticulously hand-stitched (not glued as is common in the mass market). Each Elizabeth Cole Original is fully lined - the final touch of fine quality. Elizabeth Cole Originals may be custom-ordered, but like any work of art, no two will be exactly alike - each will be as unique as its wearer.

These photos represent only a small sampling of the wide variety of elegant styles, colors and trims available. Elizabeth Cole Originals may be custom ordered to your individual specifications, accommodating all sizes, whether large, small or average (22-1/2"). Veiling can also be added to most styles, if desired. Hat styles and trims can be interchanged as desired.

An Elizabeth Cole Original is a lady's crowning glory, a fashion statement of sophistication and exquisite taste.

It is impossible to show the entire variety of hat styles and trims available. A nice selection is always available in my trade booth at driving shows throughout the Midwest, East and Southeast. I invite you to visit.

Extra large or extra small sizes are available in many styles and will be blocked to your size. To measure correctly, use a tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows and around the head. Ladies' hats are measured in inches. The average size is 22" to 22-1/2". Hats should be worn level - just above the eyebrows; not tilted back.
